Voxel rendition of the cover for the Calvin and Hobbes book: Scientific Progress Goes “Boink”

I tried a new technique with this scene. I wanted to capture the feeling of a comic book illustration as best I could using voxels. The key element would be the ink lines. To achieve that, I simulated a cell-shaded effect by putting a one voxel black line around all objects.
